ONE DAY. GREAT ROADS. GOOD PEOPLE.
Meet. Eat. Ride. Repeat.
Not everyone can commit to a weekend campout—and that’s exactly why we’re doing this.
Whether you’re a seasoned rider, brand new to motorcycling, or just looking for an excuse to explore the Hocking Hills with good people, the One Day Rally is for you.
Come for the morning, stay all day, or meet us for a ride. We’ll have suggested routes ranging from relaxed scenic roads to more adventurous loops. Ride with a group, meet some new riding buddies, or head out solo with one of our route maps.
When you’re back at the shelterhouse, stick around for yard games, conversation, and a community cookout.
This isn’t about speed or skill. It’s about finding your next favorite road and spending Labor Day with people who like motorcycles.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
A Few Things Before You Ride
The One Day Rally is intentionally simple. Here are the few things worth knowing before you head for Lake Hope.
PARKING
Parking at Lake Hope
The driveway immediately leading to the shelterhouse is gravel, but most of the park entrance is paved.
There is also a paved parking lot just before the shelterhouse turnoff if you’d rather avoid the gravel.
FUEL
Gas Near Lake Hope

WHAT TO BRING
Keep It Simple
Bring a dish to share or $5 to contribute to the community cookout.
You don’t need camping gear. A hammock is fine if you want to hang out, and there’s a swimming beach about a six-minute walk from the shelterhouse if the weather cooperates.
READY TO JOIN US?
RSVP, Sign the Waiver, and Come Ride.
There’s no cost to attend the One Day Rally. We’re doing lunch cookout-style, so bring a dish to share or contribute $5 and we’ll handle the grill.
RSVP ahead of time so we know you’re coming and can have your waiver completed before the event.
THE COOKOUT
Bring a Dish or $5
We’ll provide the grill and make the main cookout happen. Bring something to share, or just contribute $5 when you arrive.
No ticket required.
We’ll have your name on the RSVP list.
GOOD TO KNOW
A Few Common Questions
The One Day Rally is meant to be simple. Here are a few things riders have asked about.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED?
This Is a Day-Use Event
The rally includes use of the Lake Hope day-use shelterhouse, but it does not include admission or access to other paid activities or facilities in the park.
WANT TO CAMP?
Camping Nearby Is Still an Option
The One Day Rally itself is not a camping event, but you’re welcome to camp in the area over Labor Day weekend and meet us at the shelterhouse on Monday.
The rally can also work as a basecamp where you leave your camping gear behind and ride lighter before heading back toward Central Ohio.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Pretty Much Any Rider
New riders, experienced riders, street riders, gravel riders, people looking for a group, and people who would rather ride solo are all welcome.
There are no predetermined guided rides. Groups may form at the rally, or you can use the suggested routes and head out on your own.
RIDE WITH RESPECT
Everyone Is Welcome Here.
The One Day Rally is an inclusive and welcoming motorcycle event. We want riders of different backgrounds, experience levels, motorcycles, and riding styles to feel comfortable joining us.
Zero Tolerance for Harassment or Hate
Racism, homophobia, bigotry, hate speech, harassment, threats, or violence of any kind are not welcome at the One Day Rally.
If you feel unsafe or have a problem during the event, find Dylan or Nicole and let us know immediately.
